Non più solo cronaca da leggere o da ascoltare, ma volti vicini da accogliere: anche Senigallia è pronta a fare la sua parte per accogliere i migranti minorenni sbarcati il 10 e il 12 gennaio scorso al porto di Ancona dopo un lungo viaggio dalle coste libiche.
Dalla nave “Ocean Viking” della Ong “Sos Méditerranée” sono scesi 37 naufraghi, di cui 18 minorenni (e non 12 come inizialmente annunciato) mentre dalla “Geo Barents” di Medici Senza Frontiere – il cui arrivo è stato ritardato dalle pessime condizioni meteo – sono scesi 73 persone, tra cui altri 22 minorenni.
I minori di sesso maschile sono stati trasferiti a Senigallia presso strutture a disposizione dalla Caritas cittadina, in collaborazione con i servizi sociali del Comune. Il tutto è coordinato dalla Prefettura dorica. Una sola ragazza, l’unica minore di sesso femminile, è stata trasferita presso un altro centro marchigiano.
