Il Caritas Baby Hospital di Betlemme – che molti pellegrini della Diocesi di Senigallia hanno conosciuto in occasione di diversi viaggi in Terrasanta e sostenuto con generose donazioni – ha iniziato la sua campagna di vaccinazione, i primi a ricevere la dose di vaccino sono stati i collaboratori che operano a stretto contatto con i pazienti. Lo rende noto lo stesso ospedale pediatrico, fondato nel 1952 dal prete svizzero Ernst Schnydrig, assieme al medico palestinese Antoine Dabdoub e alla cittadina svizzera Hedwig Vetter. La scorsa settimana sono state ordinate le prime dosi di vaccino anti Covid-19 per il personale sanitario in Palestina. Il Caritas Baby Hospital di Betlemme, in collaborazione con il Ministero della Sanità palestinese, ha fatto poi partire la campagna di vaccinazione sui suoi dipendenti: quarantasei di loro, quelli che operano più a contatto con i pazienti, hanno già ricevuto la prima dose.
