Sabato 24 aprile 2021, alle ore 10.00, il Vescovo di Senigallia, Franco Manenti, incontrerà i rappresentanti del mondo economico e sociale: associazioni di categoria, imprese, commercianti, responsabili di cooperative e forze sindacali. E’ il consueto appuntamento che si rinnova in occasione della festività del patrono San Paolino (4 maggio) e alla Festa Internazionale del lavoro del 1° maggio, sarà organizzato in modalità on-line, per la nota situazione pandemica. La Chiesa è vicina ai lavoratori, agli imprenditori, ai cooperatori e vuole esprimere la propria solidarietà in relazione anche al grave momento che il Paese sta attraversando. Per questo, il Vescovo e la Commissione diocesana per i problemi sociali e del lavoro vorrà innanzitutto ascoltare la voce dei presenti.
Inoltre, sarà l’occasione per presentare il prossimo appuntamento nazionale ad ottobre a Taranto, che vedrà coinvolti i cattolici italiani nella loro Settimana sociale. Il tema sarà decisivo: come coniugare dignità, rispetto dell’ambiente, produttività solidale nello scenario industriale post-pandemia.
