Vallo a spiegare che non ce l’ha con gli animali, che ha scritto un’enciclica per ribadire il valore assoluto del Creato, che porta il nome di un santo che con gli animali ci parlava. Basterebbe attingere alla secolare tradizione della chiesa cattolica nella festa di Sant’Antonio abate, quando viene benedetta ogni sorta d’animale, per fugare ogni sospetto di discriminazione, ma non c’è niente da fare, è reo di lesa maestà animale. Benedire significa proprio ‘dire bene’: un bambino è un bambino, un cane un cane e confondere i piani non fa bene a nessuno dei due.
