Nel pomeriggio di mercoledì 17 febbraio a Corinaldo si è verificato il crollo di una vasta porzione della cinta muraria presente tra la Rotonda e la Torre del Calcinaro. Abbiamo chiesto al sindaco del paese, Matteo Principi, un aggiornamento sulla situazione.
Concluse le operazioni di soccorso alle persone e l’evacuazione dei fabbricati in prossimità dello sgretolamento, della falda che si è creata nella cinta muraria, nel pomeriggio di oggi, 19 febbraio, inizieremo le operazioni di smontaggio e demolizione del fabbricato che appoggia su questa zona così delicata delle mura che ha iniziato a cedere. Toglieremo del peso alla cinta muraria per poi riiniziare i lavori di recupero e di restauro della struttura. Questo avverrà nel pomeriggio con una ditta che si servirà di un mezzo appositamente dedicato a questo tipo di interventi, grande abbastanza per poter raggiungere l’altezza della fortificazione.
