Morro d’Alba sceglie di non cambiare e premia Enrico Ciarimboli, primo cittadino uscente, con un altro mandato da sindaco. Questo l’esito della sfida a due che si è tenuta durante questa tornata elettorale del 14 e 15 maggio 2023.
Il leader della lista “Morro D’Alba Comune” si è confermato alla guida del paese grazie ai 562 voti, pari al 56,43% delle preferenze. Numeri che valgono i 7 seggi della maggioranza.
A sfidarlo c’era Gaspare Damico, sostenuto da una lista civica, “Morro D’Alba Insieme”. Per lui i voti sono stati 434, ovvero il 43,57% delle preferenze che danno il diritto a 3 seggi in consiglio comunale.
In questi due giorni di voto, si sono recate alle urne 1050 persone. Tolte le 8 schede bianche e le 19 nulle, ha espresso voti validi praticamente il 64,62% dei 1583 aventi diritto.
Durante la precedente consultazione del giugno 2018, i voti per Ciarimboli erano stati 550, mentre Riccardo Medici si era fermato a quota 479. Su 1599 elettori, il 66,54% aveva espresso voti validi. Anche qui si registra una leggera flessione nella partecipazione al voto democratico.
