SENIGALLIA – Via libera al ripascimento della spiaggia di velluto con ciò che verrà rimosso dall’area portuale tramite il dragaggio dei fondali. Dopo la conferma che non si tratta di materiali inquinanti arrivata dall’Arpam che ha effettuato le analisi, può dunque partire il progetto troppo a lungo rimandato di escavo dei fondali portuali.
L’avvio dei lavori dovrebbe – manca ancora il disco verde della Regione – avvenire in tempi brevi, o almeno utili a che la nuova stagione turistica parta nel migliore dei modi. L’anno scorso, infatti, più d’una barca si era incagliata a causa del fondale poco profondo.
Le analisi in realtà erano state completate nel 2022, con la caratterizzazione dei sedimenti nel porto e nell’avamporto ma l’iter è lungo e la burocrazia non fa sconti, nemmeno quando si tratta di enti pubblici. Il progetto definitivo esecutivo è in fase di elaborazione da parte del Provveditorato alle opere pubbliche; seguirà la valutazione d’impatto ambientale che dovrebbe arrivare entro pochi giorni e poi la gara d’appalto.
Passeranno mesi dunque ma l’obiettivo è terminare entro maggio. I sedimenti saranno utilizzati per il ripascimento delle zone di spiaggia più erose, sia a sud che a nord di Senigallia, nonostante le scogliere di protezione.
