Sono complessivamente 13 milioni e 750 mila euro le risorse destinate a interventi di difesa della costa che stanno per essere avviati. Più precisamente in tre località – Porto S. Elpidio , Fano e Mondolfo – dove sono in programma lavori fondamentali per scongiurare l’erosione costiera ed evitare danni.
A Mondolfo sul litorale di Marotta, si interverrà con un finanziamento di 1 milione e 600 mila euro messi a disposizione dalla Regione Marche e dal Dipartimento nazionale della Protezione Civile per far fronte ai danni causati dalle eccezionali mareggiate del novembre 2019. Opere che consentiranno di ripristinare l’efficienza delle scogliere esistenti a protezione del lungomare del centro di Marotta per quasi 2 km di costa.
L’intervento si configura come secondo lotto funzionale di un progetto generale da 3 milioni di euro già autorizzato sotto l’aspetto ambientale. Un primo lotto da 360.000 euro è già stato finanziato dalla Regione Marche il 7 aprile scorso ed è in corso di affidamento.
