È sul sito della CEI un sussidio a cura della Commissione episcopale per l’educazione cattolica, la scuola e l’università. Il documento, intitolato “Educare, infinito presente. La pastorale della Chiesa per la scuola”, arriva al termine di diversi mesi di lavoro, culminato durante il lockdown e all’inizio dell’estate, ed è “uno dei frutti del cammino decennale che i Vescovi italiani hanno dedicato all’educazione”, afferma nella presentazione mons. Mariano Crociata, vescovo di Latina e presidente della suddetta Commissione episcopale, sottolineando che “quello dell’educazione è un dossier che non può mai essere considerato chiuso” e necessita “di un impegno che si presenta accresciuto per urgenza e novità di esigenze”.
Pubblicato oggi, giorno di ripartenza dell’attività didattica, il sussidio testimonia la particolare attenzione della stessa Commissione alla scuola e al rapporto che la Chiesa è chiamata a intrattenere con essa. Rapporto che, pur avendo “una lunga storia”, oggi “chiede una rivisitazione alla luce delle circostanze profondamente mutate”, alle quali si aggiunge anche l’epidemia da Coronavirus, prosegue Crociata. Il quadro odierno richiede dunque“uno sguardo nuovo” e “un atteggiamento più duttile, capace di aderire ad una realtà in continua evoluzione”, tenendo “sotto osservazione la realtà della scuola” e le sue “incessanti trasformazioni”.
